Item is only a year old. Very useful for relaxing when not being slept in at the bottom bunk- one can retract bed into futon seat. Very comfy, and can read stories to kids, relax, watch a movie etc, plus saves space. When family are around/guests are staying over, the futon extends out to a sleeping position capable of sleeping two extra people-very handy! The top bunk is a single sleeper. All in all this bed sleeps three. The futon seat also seats three very comfortably. Metallic silver finish. Purple panels on the top bunk at the ends, made from robust plastic. Futon bunk bed is in very good condition, practically new, with the most minor of scruffs from general wear and tear. Sold WITHOUT the mattresses, and due to the size of the bed, collection only from North West London. You will need a very large vehicle or van to collect this item. Comes with instruction manual.
